Money Has No Value? Well then. . .

If money had no value, I would become a publisher, because I love to read. My job would be sitting in the comfort of my own home reading never-before-read books while I drink oolong tea or hot chocolate. It is a dream job. I enjoy writing and I enjoy editing, but reading is the best part, and I believe being a publisher would give me that sort of fufillment. I can explain what I like about books and why I would publish it, or subtly break it to writers what I didn't like, how to fix it, and why I won't publish it. It would help society by bringing wonderful books to them, filling people's heads with stories about wonderful creatures and lands unknown. I will make people's lives brighter, knowing that the characters in books can help them through a tough, long day. Sometimes people feel lonely, or sad, or anxious, and books will provide a friend, an advice-giver, a laugh, and a way to relax and pass the time. Books are beautiful works of art, and I would love to spend the rest of my life appreciating them and giving them to the world.

  1. Jessie,
I hope you would be able to accomplish this! You have great opinions on texts, and I think you thoughts would be valuable.
Be sure to check for proper comma usage and avoid contractions.
