What do I value most?
My number one value is an idea. It is the thought that everything, even the most unreasonable, is to be considered, and to keep an open mind. A quote I say a lot is (and I do not know where it came from, I might have thought of it myself!) , "There is no right or wrong, there just is." To explain this is that everyone has their own opinions and beliefs, but we do not have the knowledge to know what is "wrong" or "right". For all we know, we could be a world on a speck of dust in a world with talking elephants and animals. We are not advanced enough to know all of the answers to the universe. We are not God. Who are we to say what is 'correct'? "Who are we to judge someone's perception of art?" (Again, I may or may not have come up with this) This can be applied to life. Our lives are art. How we view them and how we live them out is a creation of our own. We cannot judge how others live, because it is not our own life. What may be squatting to one may be luxury to another. Life is what we make of it, and no one's perception of happiness is the same.

Jessie,
ReplyDeleteYou have some creative thoughts. It is cool to see your mind work as it does. I think as we move on in our lives some more of these questions become answered. Be careful with your punctuation. Ex: "How we view them and how we live..." Question?
